People & Culture Administrator (part-time)

We are looking for a proactive People & Culture Administrator to support the delivery of our People & Culture action plan, whilst ensuring efficient and effective administrative support is provided for HR functions. The role will also include administrative and diary support for the Chief Executive and senior leadership team.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Co-ordinate training programmes for all UPSU staff and maintain a training matrix to ensure that all mandatory and job-related training is up-to-date and refreshed when necessary.
  • Provide HR administrative support including recruitment, onboarding, training records, absence records, staff leavers and all HR processes.
  • Maintain an organised filing system of electronic documents in relation to all aspects of HR.
  • Monitor generic HR mailbox and respond appropriately.

Requirements include:

  • Minimum GCSEs (Grade C/4 or above) in English and Maths (or equivalent).
  • Knowledge of HR processes and related administration.
  • Ability to think creatively and identify opportunities for collaboration.
  • Solution focussed.
  • Ability to prioritise multiple strands of work in a busy environment.

Hours: 22 hours per week, hybrid working available

Salary range: Grade B - £27,953 to £31,426 (pro rata) – actual starting salary £16,771 pa
