Operations Co-ordinator

We are looking for a proactive Operations Co-ordinator to oversee the operations of our cleaning provision, ensuring exceptional standards are met. This role involves managing staff, maintaining inventory, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations as well as all relevant policies and procedures in relation to cleaning.
In addition, this role will work closely with the Deputy Operations Manager, to provide a caretaker level service of maintenance, minor repairs and providing additional support to the wider Operations Team led by the Head of Operations.
The Operations Co-ordinator will be responsible for the overall care and maintenance of the Students Union under the direction of the Deputy Operations Manager and the Head of Operations. Working with all departments across the organisation in the following areas:
- Facilities
- Cleaning
- Financial and administrative duties
- Service delivery management
- Duty management responsibilities
Requirements include:
- First Aid at Work qualification (training will be provided)
- Significant experience of cleaning in a large-scale venue
- Knowledge of cleaning materials
- Excellent organisational skills
- Ability to prioritise workloads

Hours: 1665 hours per year (37 hours per week)
Shift times may vary according to business needs, but an example could be: Monday - Thursday - 06:00 - 14:00, Friday - 06:00 - 11:00 or Sunday - 06:00 - 11:00
Salary range: Grade A - starting at £24,924 rising by annual increments up to £27,953 per annum
