Thank you for applying for the role of Events Technical Crew.

The Operations Team responsibilities include the successful delivery of entertainments and events within the Students’ Union and oversee the operational management and effective administration of the events at UPSU. We deliver a comprehensive programme of entertainments and social events at UPSU, including weekly nightclubs, fresher’s, festivals special events and annual summer ball.

The events technical crew is a small group of technically minded individuals who work towards the smooth running of UPSU events by setting up and operating equipment and setting rooms to required configurations. The role is to assist and support the Operations Management Team in providing support for all technical and operational needs and to work as part of the team to ensure that services are organised effectively and efficiently, with due regard to quality, customer service, health and safety and the mission and objectives of the UPSU. On the job training will be provided, however, technical skills will be desirable.

• Pay Rate: £12.31 per hour
• Shift Requirements - Shifts will vary day to day
